Last month, Princess Cruises took delivery of the ship in a ceremony in Italy. It will spend the inaugural season in Europe before heading on a Silk Road Sea Route repositioning cruise to its new home port of Shanghai.
This is the sister ship to Royal Princess and Regal Princess. It is the first international luxury vessel to be tailored for the China market.
