Between December 8-10, 2016, witness the Fête des Lumières in Lyon. Only a two-hour train ride from Paris, Lyon is home to a yearly festival that traces its roots back hundreds of years, to a Catholic tradition of lighting candles in the name of Mary. At nightfall, historic buildings become a backdrop for colorful displays coordinating light and music.

Diwali – India
