This spring, Delta Air Lines is will begin offering free meals on select transcontinental flights to passengers seated in economy.

Meal service will begin on March 1, 2017 for flights between New York (JFK) and Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO).

Starting April 24, 2017, Delta will add ten additional routes with this service:
– Boston (BOS) to Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), and Seattle (SEA)
– Washington DC (DCA) to Los Angeles (LAX)
– New York (JFK) to Portland (PDX), San Diego (SAN), and Seattle (SEA)
– Seattle (SEA) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Orlando (MCO), and Raleigh-Durham (RDU)

The menu will vary based on time of day and will offer passengers different choices, such as a mesquite-smoked turkey sandwich, Mediterranean whole grain veggie wrap, or fruit and cheese plate.

Guests seated in Delta Comfort + will receive the all of the above, as well as a pre-arrival snack basket and complimentary beer, wine, and spirits.
