Due to its popularity, the 2008 “Styles in the Aisles” Exhibit has reopened at Seattle’s Museum of Flight.

The show chronicles the 80 year history of the flight attendant and includes a dozen full uniforms, complimented with amazing photographs, memorabilia and history of airline industry fashion. The popular 2008 show inspired many past and current attendants to donate their own uniforms and memories to the newly expanded exhibit which includes a rare 1936 United Airlines uniform and a 1945 NorthWest Airlines ensemble featuring a mink stole. We were fascinated at the changes in fashion and their evolution; from conservative to glamorous and eye-catching and right back into conservative.
