One of our friends, Muriel-Marguerite Foucher, spent most of her career in her successful Parisian cooking school. For over 10 years she’d been teaching English speaking tourists French cookery and many of the recipes she learned at her grandmothers side.
Paris’s loss is Seattle’s gain; several years ago Muriel moved to Seattle and in 2012 opened a new cooking school on Capitol Hill. At Paris Eastside students will learn classic and not so classic French dishes, deserts and wine pairing from an actual Parisian!
Classes include:
- French Cuisine 101 a four series course featuring seasonal recipes
- The Macaroon, a fun class for a girls night out
- Brunch class with Quiche and Crêpes Suzette
- And our guilty pleasure, the Cream Puff class: Éclairs and Gougères
A great way to bring those fond memories of France to your kitchen table, classes can be booked at the Paris Eastside website www.pariseastside.com
