A travel survey of more than 2,300 North American and European leisure travelers over the age of 45 revealed Hawaii was a destination deemed one of the safest. With personal security concerns shaping consumers decisions about where they want to vacation, the Hawaiian Islands remain a popular travel option not only because of perceived safety but also its impressive diversity. The study’s author said “people are looking to quell multiple desires. They want to relax, they want adventure, they want culture and they want nightlife. They want to be able to satisfy numerous things on their bucket lists.” One of the questions was “What do you perceive as the safest destination to travel to?” The survey’s author is Liz Miller, Senior VP, Chief Marketing Organization (CMO) Council.
