We could wax poetic about the benefits of travel all day long – of course, here at Stellar Travel we may be just a little biased. That’s why we were happy to see a scientific study confirm our hunch: that travel can even make you smarter and more successful.
The study was conducted by Professor William Maddux of INSEAD, a business school in France. It showed a link between a person’s “multicultural engagement,” their ability to learn from different cultures, and their “integrative complexity,” their comprehension of complicated issues.
In other words, people who’ve been immersed in other cultures have a broader understanding of the world.
Furthermore, the study showed that individuals with this trait received more job offers and professional opportunities. This reveals that multi-cultural knowledge doesn’t just make you smarter – it also means you’re more likely to find success.
