We have compiled the latest airline bag fees and you can see they are all over the map. ALL airlines have a charge for oversized bags (not included in the chart) so if you you’re hauling a large suitcase, be sure to check the airline website for specifics. Southwest looks like the winner on the domestic front with 2 free bags allowed. JetBlue gives you the first bag free. Then there’s the craziness of United and USAirways where you get to pay an extra $5 at the airport if you don’t check in and pay online. Watch those international excess charges, they can be very steep.
