Philanthropist, actor, TV icon, author – Oprah Winfrey has worn many hats in her life. Now, she’ll add to that list as the godmother of Holland America’s newest ship, the Nieuw Statendam.
In a private ceremony in early 2019, Oprah will dedicate the ship before it sets sail on a special inaugural voyage. Oprah will accompany this “Girls’ Getaway” cruise, sailing to the Bahamas from January 30-Feburary 2. This cruise will feature special Oprah and O-Magazine programming.
