Congratulations to Star Noodle chef Sheldon Simeon for winning Food and Wine’s Northwest and Pacific Best New Chef.  Born and raised on the Hawaiian Islands, Chef Sheldon meshes his Hawaiian background with Asian ingredients.  “Sheldon’s intention of food are playful, fun takes on the classics. He is constantly experimenting and takes ideas, suggestions and inspiration from all.”

This hidden gem is located near Lahaina,
Maui just a short drive from Kaanapali.

Sheldon Simeon has taken this prize over notable Northwest chefs Cormac Mahoney of Seattle’s Madison Park Conservatory, Ben Bettinger or Portland’s Beaker and Flask and much talked about Blaine Wetzel at the Willows Inn at Lummi Island.  Read the results of Food and Wine’s Northwest and Pacific Best New Chef HERE and make sure to visit Star Noodle next time you’re in Maui.
